Giving your body a task to do can help your brain steer away from the stress and regain fulfillment by achieving other goals in other areas of your life &#8211; such as your physical health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My favorite low impact activities include taking strolls around my neighborhood, hikes, and even using books as weights in my house for a quick lifting session. Exercising doesn&#8217;t have to cost you a pretty penny. All it requires is for you to carve out time for yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I find that engaging in physical activities is one of the best methods to &#8216;cure stress&#8217; because it can be an individual activity or a shared activity. I like to walk my dog on my walks so it knocks two things out at once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since we are on the topic of pets, we probably hear about how adopting more animals will bring us more serotonin and dopamine to &#8216;cure stress&#8217;. Specifically, they are referring to the act of simply doing a service that would help provide a home and some company to pets in need. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Doesn&#8217;t that sound exciting and engaging?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Personally, when I do have some free time, I like to take myself there on the weekends and volunteer because that&#8217;s when they need more hands for events and showings of animals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From playing with animals that others might not consider bringing home just yet, you are essentially reminding them that they do exist and that they are important &#8211; just like how you should view yourself. Within the article, they have a layout of how to break down work projects into bite size chunks where you can allow yourself to have breathable time and a more flexible angle to work around. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Though the article addresses stress at work, it&#8217;s a great layout for people who are dealing with other impeding tasks in other aspects of their lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For me, a great example is when I had a goal to hit for my personal fitness. Obviously, things that deal with your health &#8211; such as curing stress &#8211; doesn&#8217;t work overnight. By giving myself small plans throughout the week, it helped to get me closer to my goal in small meaningly tasks that would make me feel motivated to continue moving forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re thinking about wanting to be better at overall time management, this next absurd method of &#8216;curing stress&#8217; might be helpful.
