Howеvеr, in honor of April Fools’ Day, wе’vе put togеthеr thе most absurd, ovеr-thе-top stress-relief mеthods that absolutеly do not work to cure stress. I know that I’ve fallen for these ‘quick hacks’ at least once in my life so keep on rеading for a good laugh, and don’t try thеsе at homе (unlеss you еnjoy chaos).

My favorite low impact activities include taking strolls around my neighborhood, hikes, and even using books as weights in my house for a quick lifting session. Exercising doesn’t have to cost you a pretty penny. All it requires is for you to carve out time for yourself.
I find that engaging in physical activities is one of the best methods to ‘cure stress’ because it can be an individual activity or a shared activity. I like to walk my dog on my walks so it knocks two things out at once.
Since we are on the topic of pets, we probably hear about how adopting more animals will bring us more serotonin and dopamine to ‘cure stress’. While that might be true to some extent, we got to be realistic and consider the financial and time that would be needed to tend to all our feline friends.
